BJ-1002, "The Analyzer" is the most comprehensive device available in the market for the detection of counterfeit
bills, credit cards, traveler's checks and legal documents using five different
methods:
- Chemical Detector
- Magnifying Detector
- UV Fluorescence Detection
- Magnetism
Detection
- Watermark Detection
Chemical
Detector: Paper currency will react to
the chemical solution on the pen detector. The mark on genuine bills will
turn yellow. If the mark turns dark, the bill is suspect. (This method will not
work on the Canadian Dollar).
Magnifying Detector: The magnifier will
enable you to examine micro-printing and special marks on bills and documents.
These marks are extremely difficult to duplicate by counterfeiters. Knowing the
characteristics of the valuables to be examined will help you decide whether it
is authentic or counterfeit.
UV Fluorescence: Real bills under
ultraviolet rays usually absorb the UV light and will show special marks made
with fluorescent ink. On the other hand, most counterfeit bills will reflect the
UV light and a sensor on this unit will activate a sonic alarm.
Magnetism Detection: Many bills, such as US
Dollars, Sterling Pounds, Italian Liras, Venezuelan Bolivars, etc., as well as
Traveler's Checks and Credit Cards, use magnetic ink as security features
against counterfeiters. Knowing the magnetic characteristics of the documents or
bills to be verified will allow you to detect their authenticity.
Watermark Detection: In order to
protect bills or documents against counterfeiters, the use of watermarks
and special plastic or metallic lines are very common. To reproduce these
special lines and watermarks in the right position and with clarity is almost
impossible for counterfeiters.
THE ANALYZER is a very useful instrument to detect the authenticity of
bills, credit cards, traveler's checks and special documents.
HOWEVER THERE IS NO UNIT ON THE MARKET CAPABLE OF ASSURING THE USER 100%
ACCURACY.
