Designed with a robust, commercial-grade build, the N-133A ensures fast and reliable cash management for high-volume environments like banks, large retail operations, and financial institutions.
Core Benefits and Ideal Applications
The Billcon N-133A dramatically improves operational efficiency by counting cash at an exceptional speed of up to 1,700 notes per minute. This allows employees to quickly process high volumes of currency, reducing long queues and optimizing shift end reconciliation times.
Security is paramount with the integrated MG (Magnetic) and UV (Ultraviolet) detection technology. This dual-system instantly identifies and alerts operators to counterfeit bills, protecting your business from financial fraud without slowing down the counting process.

- Large Retailers/Supermarkets: To expedite daily cash ups and bank deposit preparation.
- Cash-Intensive Industries: Casinos, hotels, and transportation services that handle diverse note sizes and large cash flow.

- High-Volume Processing: Utilize the generous 300-note hopper capacity for continuous, high-speed counting of large cash batches, minimizing manual loading.
- Custom Batching: Easily prepare cash register floats, ATM cassettes, or specific deposit bundles using the preset and manual batch settings (1–999). The clear 3-digit batch display makes setting up custom stacks simple.

Money Counters

1. Does a regular bill counter tell me the total dollar value?
No. A standard bill counter counts the number of pieces (quantity), not the denomination. For example, if you put in ten $5 bills and ten $20 bills, the machine will tell you there are "20 bills." You must pre-sort your money by denomination to calculate the total value. (If you need the machine to automatically calculate value for mixed stacks, check out our Currency Discriminators.)
2. How does the machine detect fake money?
Standard counters use two primary methods:
- UV (Ultraviolet): It checks the paper’s reaction to UV light. Real US currency paper does not glow, but many counterfeit papers do.
- MG (Magnetic): It scans for the magnetic ink used in the printing of authentic currency.
3. Can I count items other than currency?
Many of our regular bill counters can count other paper items of similar size, such as vouchers, tickets, or coupons, provided they fall within the machine's thickness and size specifications.
4. What is the "Batch" function used for?
The Batch function is a favorite for retail managers. It allows you to preset a number (like 25, 50, or 100). The machine will count exactly that many bills and then pause, allowing you to remove the stack and put a rubber band or paper strap around it for a bank deposit.
5. Why is my counter "double-feeding" or "jamming"?
This usually happens for one of three reasons:
- Thickness Adjustment: There is a small tension screw on the back. If your bills are very new (thin) or very old (thick), you may need to adjust it slightly.
- Dirty Sensors: Dust from paper currency can coat the sensors. A quick blast of compressed air usually fixes this.
- Poor Loading: Ensure the bills are squared up and placed flat into the hopper for the smoothest feed.
