Cassida Tiger UV – High-Speed Compact Money Counter

The Cassida Tiger UV is a high-performance, compact currency counting solution built for businesses that prioritize speed, security, and accuracy. Designed for continuous use in retail, banking, and cash handling centers, the Tiger UV streamlines currency management with rapid processing and reliable UV counterfeit detection. Its "Tiger-Tough" construction ensures it remains a mainstay in any professional workspace where floor space is at a premium.

Rapid Throughput & Reliable Security

The Cassida Tiger UV dramatically improves operational efficiency by processing up to 1,300 notes per minute. This exceptional speed ensures quick end-of-day reconciliation and deposit preparation, allowing staff to finish cash tasks faster:

  • High-Speed Veracity: Process up to 1,300 bills per minute to verify totals from multiple registers quickly and accurately, eliminating the costly human errors of manual counting.
  • Integrated UV Counterfeit Detection: Maintain financial integrity with built-in Ultraviolet (UV) sensors. The system automatically checks for embedded security features in banknotes, instantly alerting the operator to suspicious bills.
  • Continuous Workflow: A generous 250-note hopper and 250-note stacker work in tandem to minimize reloading interruptions, making it a powerful asset for processing large sums.
  • Organized Batching & Adding: Use the Batch Function to preset specific quantities for bank deposits or drawer floats, and the ADD mode to keep a running total across multiple stacks of cash.

Space-Saving Setup & Industrial Build

The Tiger UV is engineered for versatility, fitting comfortably into busy retail environments without sacrificing power:

  • Ultra-Compact Footprint: With dimensions of $10" \times 10.4" \times 5.4"$, the Tiger UV fits on narrow counters, beneath teller windows, or in small back offices where larger machines won't fit.
  • Rugged "Tiger-Tough" Engineering: Despite its small size and light weight ($8.3\text{ lbs}$), the Tiger is built with durable components designed to withstand the rigors of daily commercial use.
  • Universal Power Compatibility: Supporting 115–230V, this machine is ready for global use and adaptable to various power environments.
  • Intuitive Control Panel: A simple, high-visibility interface ensures that any employee can master the machine in seconds, minimizing training time.

1. Does a regular bill counter tell me the total dollar value?

No. A standard bill counter counts the number of pieces (quantity), not the denomination. For example, if you put in ten $5 bills and ten $20 bills, the machine will tell you there are "20 bills." You must pre-sort your money by denomination to calculate the total value. (If you need the machine to automatically calculate value for mixed stacks, check out our Currency Discriminators.)

2. How does the machine detect fake money?
Standard counters use two primary methods:

UV (Ultraviolet): It checks the paper’s reaction to UV light. Real US currency paper does not glow, but many counterfeit papers do.
MG (Magnetic): It scans for the magnetic ink used in the printing of authentic currency.

3. Can I count items other than currency?s.

Many of our regular bill counters can count other paper items of similar size, such as vouchers, tickets, or coupons, provided they fall within the machine's thickness and size specification

4. What is the "Batch" function used for?

The Batch function is a favorite for retail managers. It allows you to preset a number (like 25, 50, or 100). The machine will count exactly that many bills and then pause, allowing you to remove the stack and put a rubber band or paper strap around it for a bank deposit.

5. Why is my counter "double-feeding" or "jamming"?

This usually happens for one of three reasons:

Thickness Adjustment: There is a small tension screw on the back. If your bills are very new (thin) or very old (thick), you may need to adjust it slightly.
Dirty Sensors: Dust from paper currency can coat the sensors. A quick blast of compressed air usually fixes this.
Poor Loading: Ensure the bills are squared up and placed flat into the hopper for the smoothest feed.
