This high-performance machine streamlines cash operations by combining dynamic counting speeds with advanced UV counterfeit detection and precise error identification in a durable, user-friendly design.

Key Benefits & Ideal Users

The S-1215 offers exceptional flexibility and speed with three selectable counting rates: 800, 1,200, or a maximum of 1,600 notes per minute. This top speed significantly cuts down on labor time, allowing staff to process large volumes of cash rapidly, thereby increasing daily productivity and accelerating deposit preparation.

Security is enhanced by the integrated Advanced UV (Ultraviolet) Counterfeit Detection. This system automatically verifies the UV security features embedded in genuine banknotes, providing a reliable defense against fraudulent bills. Furthermore, advanced Error Detection flags discrepancies like double bills and half notes, ensuring every count is 100% accurate.

Ideal for:

  • Financial Institutions: Tellers and vault managers needing high-speed processing and secure UV verification for frequent, large transactions.
  • Large Retail Operations: Businesses requiring rapid reconciliation of high cash volumes with reliable error detection.
  • Any Professional Environment: Where high capacity (up to 300-note hopper) and durable, continuous performance are essential.

Use Cases: Rapid, Organized Cash Processing

  1. Maximum Speed Reconciliation: Utilize the 1,600 notes/min setting to process large cash batches in the shortest possible time, eliminating manual counting errors.
  2. Organized Batching: The customizable Batch Counting function allows operators to create specific note bundles quickly, perfect for preparing teller floats or ATM cassettes.
  3. Secure Processing: Every bill is instantly checked for UV security features while being counted, ensuring that only authentic currency is accepted and processed.
  4. Durable Integration: With its robust construction and compact dimensions ($10.5" \times 9.75" \times 9.5"$), the S-1215 is built for heavy-duty, continuous use in any professional setting, backed by a One-Year Manufacturer Warranty.

1. Does a regular bill counter tell me the total dollar value?

No. A standard bill counter counts the number of pieces (quantity), not the denomination. For example, if you put in ten $5 bills and ten $20 bills, the machine will tell you there are "20 bills." You must pre-sort your money by denomination to calculate the total value. (If you need the machine to automatically calculate value for mixed stacks, check out our Currency Discriminators.)

2. How does the machine detect fake money?
Standard counters use two primary methods:

UV (Ultraviolet): It checks the paper’s reaction to UV light. Real US currency paper does not glow, but many counterfeit papers do.
MG (Magnetic): It scans for the magnetic ink used in the printing of authentic currency.

3. Can I count items other than currency?s.

Many of our regular bill counters can count other paper items of similar size, such as vouchers, tickets, or coupons, provided they fall within the machine's thickness and size specification

4. What is the "Batch" function used for?

The Batch function is a favorite for retail managers. It allows you to preset a number (like 25, 50, or 100). The machine will count exactly that many bills and then pause, allowing you to remove the stack and put a rubber band or paper strap around it for a bank deposit.

5. Why is my counter "double-feeding" or "jamming"?

This usually happens for one of three reasons:

Thickness Adjustment: There is a small tension screw on the back. If your bills are very new (thin) or very old (thick), you may need to adjust it slightly.
Dirty Sensors: Dust from paper currency can coat the sensors. A quick blast of compressed air usually fixes this.
Poor Loading: Ensure the bills are squared up and placed flat into the hopper for the smoothest feed.
