Built for demanding, high-volume environments, the S-1225 ensures fast, accurate, and secure currency management with dynamic counting speeds and reliable counterfeit protection.
Key Benefits & Ideal Users
The S-1225 offers elite performance with three selectable counting speeds, reaching a maximum of 1,600 notes per minute. This ultra high-speed capability allows for rapid processing of vast amounts of cash, drastically improving operational efficiency and minimizing staff time dedicated to counting.
Security is paramount with the integrated Advanced UV (Ultraviolet) and MG (Magnetic) Counterfeit Detection. This simultaneous dual-check system verifies multiple security features on every bill, providing robust protection against fraudulent currency. Additionally, dedicated Error Detection identifies double bills and anomalies, guaranteeing the integrity and accuracy of every single count.
Ideal for:
- Financial Institutions: Tellers and vault managers needing high-throughput and certified UV/MG security for large, frequent cash transactions.
- Large Retail & Hospitality: Businesses that process high daily cash volumes and require immediate, verifiable accuracy for reconciliation.
- Cash Centers & Back Offices: Environments where durable, heavy-duty performance and consistent reliability are necessary for continuous use.
Use Cases: Rapid, Secure, and Error-Free Processing
- Maximum Speed Reconciliation: Utilize the 1,600 notes/min setting to verify and count the largest cash batches in the shortest possible time, accelerating end-of-day procedures.
- Dual-Layer Fraud Defense: Every note is subjected to simultaneous UV and MG screening, providing comprehensive protection against both common and sophisticated counterfeit bills.
- Organized Cash Preparation: The Batch Function allows operators to easily set precise note quantities for strapping, preparing bank deposits, or creating cash register floats, streamlining the entire workflow.
- Durable Commercial Integration: Despite its robust internal mechanisms, the S-1225 features a compact design ($10.5" \times 9.75" \times 9.5"$) and operates quietly, allowing for seamless integration into professional, space-conscious work environments.

Money Counters

1. Does a regular bill counter tell me the total dollar value?
No. A standard bill counter counts the number of pieces (quantity), not the denomination. For example, if you put in ten $5 bills and ten $20 bills, the machine will tell you there are "20 bills." You must pre-sort your money by denomination to calculate the total value. (If you need the machine to automatically calculate value for mixed stacks, check out our Currency Discriminators.)
2. How does the machine detect fake money?
Standard counters use two primary methods:
UV (Ultraviolet): It checks the paper’s reaction to UV light. Real US currency paper does not glow, but many counterfeit papers do.
MG (Magnetic): It scans for the magnetic ink used in the printing of authentic currency.
3. Can I count items other than currency?s.
Many of our regular bill counters can count other paper items of similar size, such as vouchers, tickets, or coupons, provided they fall within the machine's thickness and size specification
4. What is the "Batch" function used for?
The Batch function is a favorite for retail managers. It allows you to preset a number (like 25, 50, or 100). The machine will count exactly that many bills and then pause, allowing you to remove the stack and put a rubber band or paper strap around it for a bank deposit.
5. Why is my counter "double-feeding" or "jamming"?
This usually happens for one of three reasons:
Thickness Adjustment: There is a small tension screw on the back. If your bills are very new (thin) or very old (thick), you may need to adjust it slightly.
Dirty Sensors: Dust from paper currency can coat the sensors. A quick blast of compressed air usually fixes this.
Poor Loading: Ensure the bills are squared up and placed flat into the hopper for the smoothest feed.
