The Formax modular 6608 Series offers unparalleled flexibility with 2 to 7 stations, accommodating various input configurations to suit diverse needs. Options include a high-capacity document feeder capable of handling up to 725 sheets, 1 or 2 high-capacity production feeders, standard and special feeders, and short feed trays.

User-friendly features abound, highlighted by the 10” color touchscreen control panel with a graphics-based display and automatic paper and envelope presence sensors. The vertical output stacker accommodates up to 500 filled envelopes, while the top-loading envelope hopper, with a capacity of up to 500 envelopes, allows for convenient on-the-fly refilling. AutoSet simplifies operation, automatically adjusting settings after loading envelopes and documents, and can store up to 50 programmed jobs for instant recall.

With a robust folding capacity, the 6608 Series handles up to 10 sheets (half-fold) or 8 sheets (tri-fold) simultaneously. Cascade Mode enables users to link feeders for continuous operation, seamlessly transitioning to another feeder when one empties.

Double document detectors at each feeder and the insertion area prevent double feeding. Utilizing electromechanical detectors, the 6608 Series operates reliably with any print density, paper color, thickness, or paper dust. Documents requiring inspection are automatically diverted. The series also features energy-saving auto standby mode after 1 hour of idle time.

Optional enhancements include a CIS Scanner for reading OMR, 1D and 2D Barcodes, QR codes, and OCR printed anywhere on the page, automating the insertion of multiple-page documents. Additional options comprise high-capacity production feeders, 1 or 2 Thin Booklet Feeders, short feed trays, side exit trays, custom cabinets, and 402 Series Joggers.
