Royal EBC-1000 – Professional Value Discriminator with 4-Phase Detection

The Royal EBC-1000 is a high-performance, professional currency counting solution specifically designed for businesses and financial institutions that process mixed denominations. Combining rapid counting with powerful Value Discrimination and a robust 4-Phase Counterfeit Detection system, the EBC-1000 ensures maximum accuracy and efficiency. It is the ultimate tool for operations that need to transform a disorganized stack of cash into a verified total dollar amount in seconds.

Mixed Value Counting & Elite Fraud Protection

The core advantage of the EBC-1000 is its intelligence. Unlike standard counters, it understands the value of every bill it scans:

  • Automatic Value Discrimination: Simply place a stack of mixed $1s, $5s, $10s, and $20s into the hopper. The EBC-1000 instantly calculates the total monetary value, eliminating manual sorting and the math errors that come with it.
  • 4-Phase Security Shield: Sleep easy knowing your cash is protected by a comprehensive detection matrix:
    • UV (Ultraviolet): Scans for authentic paper glow.
    • MG (Magnetic): Verifies magnetic ink patterns.
    • IR (Infrared): Analyzes bill thickness and specialized security markings.
    • DD (Dimension Detection): Checks for correct note size and denomination width.
  • High-Speed 1,200 BPM Engine: Optimize your throughput during peak times with a motor that processes up to 1,200 bills per minute without sacrificing accuracy.
  • Advanced Error Control: Built-in sensors flag chained, double, and half bills immediately, ensuring that your final deposit slip is always 100% accurate.

Versatility for Modern Cash Management

The EBC-1000 is engineered to be a seamless addition to any high-volume professional workspace:

  • Large 500-Bill Hopper: The high-capacity hopper allows for longer, continuous counting sessions, which is critical when reconciling large daily receipts or preparing armored car pickups.
  • Organized Batching & Adding: Use the Batch Counting function to group bills into preset sizes for cash register floats or ATM fillers. The ADD mode keeps a running total across multiple stacks.
  • Compact & Quiet Operation: Designed for low-noise performance, the EBC-1000 integrates smoothly into bank offices or retail counters without disrupting customer service or staff focus.
  • Durable, Tech-Forward Build: A high-visibility interface and rugged internal components ensure the EBC-1000 remains a reliable asset for years to come.

1. Does a regular bill counter tell me the total dollar value?

No. A standard bill counter counts the number of pieces (quantity), not the denomination. For example, if you put in ten $5 bills and ten $20 bills, the machine will tell you there are "20 bills." You must pre-sort your money by denomination to calculate the total value. (If you need the machine to automatically calculate value for mixed stacks, check out our Currency Discriminators.)

2. How does the machine detect fake money?
Standard counters use two primary methods:

UV (Ultraviolet): It checks the paper’s reaction to UV light. Real US currency paper does not glow, but many counterfeit papers do.
MG (Magnetic): It scans for the magnetic ink used in the printing of authentic currency.

3. Can I count items other than currency?s.

Many of our regular bill counters can count other paper items of similar size, such as vouchers, tickets, or coupons, provided they fall within the machine's thickness and size specification

4. What is the "Batch" function used for?

The Batch function is a favorite for retail managers. It allows you to preset a number (like 25, 50, or 100). The machine will count exactly that many bills and then pause, allowing you to remove the stack and put a rubber band or paper strap around it for a bank deposit.

5. Why is my counter "double-feeding" or "jamming"?

This usually happens for one of three reasons:

Thickness Adjustment: There is a small tension screw on the back. If your bills are very new (thin) or very old (thick), you may need to adjust it slightly.
Dirty Sensors: Dust from paper currency can coat the sensors. A quick blast of compressed air usually fixes this.
Poor Loading: Ensure the bills are squared up and placed flat into the hopper for the smoothest feed.
