The Royal RBC-EG100 Bill Counter is a high-performance currency counting machine engineered for businesses, banks, and retail operations that require rapid, secure, and accurate value counting. By combining a blazing fast counting speed with intelligent Value Detection and robust UV, MG, and IR counterfeit identification, the RBC-EG100 ensures the highest levels of efficiency and protection for your cash flow.

Key Benefits & Ideal Users

The RBC-EG100 is designed to eliminate manual errors and speed up reconciliation. Its Value Detection capability automatically recognizes and totals mixed-denomination stacks of currency, providing an instant, verified monetary total. This powerful feature works in tandem with an ultra-high counting speed of up to 1,500 bills per minute, maximizing productivity during busy periods.

Security is non-negotiable, and the machine provides three layers of protection: UV (Ultraviolet), MG (Magnetic), and IR (Infrared). This simultaneous, triple-detection system reliably identifies and alerts operators to suspicious bills, safeguarding your business from fraudulent loss.

Ideal for:

  • Financial Institutions: For tellers and back-office staff who need immediate, accurate value totals of mixed deposits and robust security screening.
  • High-Volume Retail and Cash Centers: Requiring durable equipment with large capacity and high throughput for continuous operation.
  • Businesses: Any operation that seeks to streamline cash handling by calculating total currency value without time-consuming presorting.

Use Cases: Precision, Speed, and Security

  1. Instant Value Tally: Place unsorted currency directly into the 500-bill front-loading hopper. The RBC-EG100 provides a final, accurate dollar total without requiring manual denomination sorting.
  2. Robust Fraud Protection: Every bill is subjected to the UV, MG, and IR security checks at maximum speed, ensuring that both the count and the authenticity are verified efficiently.
  3. Flexible Cash Preparation: Use the Batch function to quickly create bundles of specific monetary value or note count, or utilize the Add function to maintain a running cumulative total across several counting sessions.
  4. Continuous Operation: The 500-bill front-loading hopper capacity minimizes interruptions and reloads, making the compact and durable RBC-EG100 perfect for high-volume, commercial use.

1. Does a regular bill counter tell me the total dollar value?

No. A standard bill counter counts the number of pieces (quantity), not the denomination. For example, if you put in ten $5 bills and ten $20 bills, the machine will tell you there are "20 bills." You must pre-sort your money by denomination to calculate the total value. (If you need the machine to automatically calculate value for mixed stacks, check out our Currency Discriminators.)

2. How does the machine detect fake money?
Standard counters use two primary methods:

UV (Ultraviolet): It checks the paper’s reaction to UV light. Real US currency paper does not glow, but many counterfeit papers do.
MG (Magnetic): It scans for the magnetic ink used in the printing of authentic currency.

3. Can I count items other than currency?s.

Many of our regular bill counters can count other paper items of similar size, such as vouchers, tickets, or coupons, provided they fall within the machine's thickness and size specification

4. What is the "Batch" function used for?

The Batch function is a favorite for retail managers. It allows you to preset a number (like 25, 50, or 100). The machine will count exactly that many bills and then pause, allowing you to remove the stack and put a rubber band or paper strap around it for a bank deposit.

5. Why is my counter "double-feeding" or "jamming"?

This usually happens for one of three reasons:

Thickness Adjustment: There is a small tension screw on the back. If your bills are very new (thin) or very old (thick), you may need to adjust it slightly.
Dirty Sensors: Dust from paper currency can coat the sensors. A quick blast of compressed air usually fixes this.
Poor Loading: Ensure the bills are squared up and placed flat into the hopper for the smoothest feed.
