The Royal RBC-ES250 Bill Counter is a high-performance machine expertly designed to provide fast, accurate, and secure cash handling for businesses, retailers, and financial institutions. Offering a seamless combination of speed and advanced security, the RBC-ES250 streamlines currency management, dramatically enhancing efficiency and virtually eliminating human errors in high-volume cash operations.
Key Benefits & Ideal Users
The RBC-ES250 maximizes daily productivity by processing up to 1,400 bills per minute. This high-speed capacity ensures rapid handling of cash receipts and speeds up end-of-day reconciliation. Engineered for precision, the counter guarantees reliable, error-free counting results every time.
Security is essential, which is why the RBC-ES250 features a robust, triple-detection system: UV (Ultraviolet), MG (Magnetic), and IR (Infrared). This simultaneous screening verifies multiple security features on every bill, providing a comprehensive defense against counterfeit currency and protecting your bottom line.
Ideal for:
- Retailers and Supermarkets: High-traffic environments needing quick, accurate, and secure counting of daily cash receipts.
- Banking and Teller Operations: Staff requiring dependable equipment for fast customer transactions and error-free processing.
- Mid-Volume Cash Centers: Any business that requires an efficient, compact machine with multi-layered counterfeit protection.
Use Cases: Organized and Secure Cash Flow
- Fast Daily Reconciliation: Achieve verified, accurate cash totals quickly using the 1,400 bills/min speed, minimizing employee time spent on closing procedures.
- Triple-Check Security: Every bill is subjected to the UV, MG, and IR security analysis during the counting process, ensuring the authenticity of all currency being handled.
- Efficient Batch Preparation: Utilize the Batch and Add Functions to streamline cash management. Easily create organized bundles of a preset size for deposits or cash register floats, or accumulate totals from several smaller stacks.
- Space-Saving Durability: The compact and durable design allows the RBC-ES250 to fit easily on counters or in small offices, providing professional-grade performance without requiring excessive workspace. The 200-bill back-loading hopper supports continuous counting sessions.

Money Counters

1. Does a regular bill counter tell me the total dollar value?
No. A standard bill counter counts the number of pieces (quantity), not the denomination. For example, if you put in ten $5 bills and ten $20 bills, the machine will tell you there are "20 bills." You must pre-sort your money by denomination to calculate the total value. (If you need the machine to automatically calculate value for mixed stacks, check out our Currency Discriminators.)
2. How does the machine detect fake money?
Standard counters use two primary methods:
UV (Ultraviolet): It checks the paper’s reaction to UV light. Real US currency paper does not glow, but many counterfeit papers do.
MG (Magnetic): It scans for the magnetic ink used in the printing of authentic currency.
3. Can I count items other than currency?s.
Many of our regular bill counters can count other paper items of similar size, such as vouchers, tickets, or coupons, provided they fall within the machine's thickness and size specification
4. What is the "Batch" function used for?
The Batch function is a favorite for retail managers. It allows you to preset a number (like 25, 50, or 100). The machine will count exactly that many bills and then pause, allowing you to remove the stack and put a rubber band or paper strap around it for a bank deposit.
5. Why is my counter "double-feeding" or "jamming"?
This usually happens for one of three reasons:
Thickness Adjustment: There is a small tension screw on the back. If your bills are very new (thin) or very old (thick), you may need to adjust it slightly.
Dirty Sensors: Dust from paper currency can coat the sensors. A quick blast of compressed air usually fixes this.
Poor Loading: Ensure the bills are squared up and placed flat into the hopper for the smoothest feed.
