The Kisan Newton 30 Era 2+1P is a premium, high-speed currency sorter engineered for financial institutions and businesses with heavy, complex cash flow. This advanced machine transcends simple counting by integrating fitness sorting, robust security, and global multi-currency discrimination into a single, efficient 2+1 pocket system, dramatically streamlining high-volume operations.

Non-Stop Sorting with the 2+1 Pocket System

The Newton 30 Era's core strength is its configuration of two stacker pockets plus one reject pocket (2+1). This feature allows the machine to perform complex, multi-step sorting processes in a single pass without interruption:

  • Continuous Operation: With a 100-bill reject pocket, suspect, unfit, or off-denomination bills are seamlessly diverted, allowing the main counting process to continue without pause.
  • Quality Control: It performs accurate Fitness Sorting, classifying notes by their condition, and is capable of Face and Orientation Sorting, ensuring stacked bills are uniform and ready for ATM or vault deposits.
  • High Throughput: The machine maintains a consistent speed of 1,000 bills per minute for all demanding functions—Value Counting, Fitness Sorting, and Serial Number (S/N) reading.

Global Security and Versatility

The Newton 30 Era is globally ready, boasting support for up to 48 world currencies with easy Auto/Mix modes for processing mixed deposits. Security is guaranteed by a best-in-class, multi-layered detection system: Dual CIS (Contact Image Sensor), 18-channel MG (Magnetic), 21-channel US (Ultrasonic), UV, and IR. This comprehensive sensor package provides bank-grade assurance against any form of counterfeit.

The large 600-bill hopper capacity and compact desktop design (Weight: 18 kg) make it both powerful and space-efficient. Furthermore, it supports advanced functions like Check, Voucher, and TITO (Ticket-In, Ticket-Out) scanning and offers connectivity via LAN and USB for integration with the KBMS Network Solution for centralized data management.

1. What is the difference between a bill counter and a currency discriminator?

A standard bill counter is a "piece counter"—it tells you how many pieces of paper went through. A currency discriminator is a "value counter"—it uses digital eyes (CIS) to look at the bill, identify if it’s a $20 or a $100, and give you a total monetary value.

2. Is a currency discriminator better at catching fakes than a cheap counter?

Yes. Standard counters usually only check for magnetic ink or UV glow. Discriminators use Image Recognition, meaning they compare the actual artwork and security features of the bill against a high-resolution database. This is the only reliable way to catch "supernotes" or bleached bills (e.g., a $1 bill reprinted to look like a $100).

3. What does "1+1 Pocket" or "2-Pocket" mean?

This is one of the most searched terms.

  • A 1-Pocket machine stops and beeps every time it finds a suspect or "unfit" bill.
  • A 2-Pocket (1+1) machine has a separate Reject Pocket. It sends suspect bills to the top pocket while the main count continues without stopping. This is essential for high-volume environments.

4. Can currency discriminators count international money?

Most modern discriminators come with "Multi-Currency" modes. Because they rely on image scanning, they can be programmed to recognize the distinct designs of Euros, Canadian Dollars, British Pounds, and Mexican Pesos, often handling them all in the same stack.

5. Why is my discriminator giving a "CIS Error"?

This is usually a sign that the "eyes" of the machine are dirty. Cash is incredibly dusty; we recommend using cleaning cards or a microfiber cloth weekly to wipe the sensors. If the sensors are blocked by dust, the machine can't "see" the bill to identify it.
