The Magner 75 Currency Counter is a high-performance machine engineered for businesses and financial institutions that require unmatched speed and automatic sorting capabilities for high-volume cash management. Offering rapid, precise, and highly reliable currency handling, the Magner 75 ensures efficient operations, accuracy, and maximum productivity in busy environments.

Key Benefits & Ideal Users

The Magner 75 is built for extreme efficiency, featuring selectable counting speeds up to a staggering 1,500 bills per minute. This industry-leading speed ensures rapid processing of large cash batches, significantly minimizing staff time spent on counting and reconciling deposits.

Its standout feature is Automatic Currency Sorting. The machine can sort bills by denomination, face, and orientation, a crucial function for preparing balanced tellers' drawers, ATM cassettes, or organized bank deposits. This automation drastically reduces labor costs and eliminates manual sorting errors.

Ideal for:

  • Financial Institutions & Credit Unions: For sorting large volumes of mixed incoming cash by denomination and orientation quickly.
  • Large Retailers & Casinos: Where fast reconciliation and organization of high-volume cash flow are daily operational necessities.
  • Cash Centers & Back Offices: Needing highly durable, professional-grade equipment for continuous, high-speed sorting and counting tasks.

Use Cases: Precision and Throughput

  1. Automated Deposit Preparation: Quickly run unsorted, mixed stacks of currency through the Magner 75. The machine counts and sorts them by denomination or orientation, delivering organized batches ready for deposit or strapping.
  2. High-Volume Reconciliation: Use the maximum speed setting (1,500 notes/min) to verify large cash receipts from multiple sources, guaranteeing accuracy in a fraction of the time required by less advanced machines.
  3. Large Batch Capacity: The generous 500-note hopper capacity supports continuous operation and minimizes interruptions, optimizing workflow during peak processing hours.
  4. Durable Workflow Integration: With a compact design ($10.04" \times 11.02" \times 9.06"$) and durable build ($15.5\text{ lbs}$), the Magner 75 is built for the rigors of continuous commercial use while maintaining a space-saving footprint.

1. Does a regular bill counter tell me the total dollar value?

No. A standard bill counter counts the number of pieces (quantity), not the denomination. For example, if you put in ten $5 bills and ten $20 bills, the machine will tell you there are "20 bills." You must pre-sort your money by denomination to calculate the total value. (If you need the machine to automatically calculate value for mixed stacks, check out our Currency Discriminators.)

2. How does the machine detect fake money?
Standard counters use two primary methods:

UV (Ultraviolet): It checks the paper’s reaction to UV light. Real US currency paper does not glow, but many counterfeit papers do.
MG (Magnetic): It scans for the magnetic ink used in the printing of authentic currency.

3. Can I count items other than currency?s.

Many of our regular bill counters can count other paper items of similar size, such as vouchers, tickets, or coupons, provided they fall within the machine's thickness and size specification

4. What is the "Batch" function used for?

The Batch function is a favorite for retail managers. It allows you to preset a number (like 25, 50, or 100). The machine will count exactly that many bills and then pause, allowing you to remove the stack and put a rubber band or paper strap around it for a bank deposit.

5. Why is my counter "double-feeding" or "jamming"?

This usually happens for one of three reasons:

Thickness Adjustment: There is a small tension screw on the back. If your bills are very new (thin) or very old (thick), you may need to adjust it slightly.
Dirty Sensors: Dust from paper currency can coat the sensors. A quick blast of compressed air usually fixes this.
Poor Loading: Ensure the bills are squared up and placed flat into the hopper for the smoothest feed.
