Cassida 6600 UV – Intelligent Bill Value Counter with UV Detection

The Cassida 6600 UV is the definitive solution for professional cash operations that demand both high-speed accuracy and true value counting. Engineered for modern business, the 6600 UV goes beyond piece counting by allowing you to calculate the total monetary value of a stack, significantly enhancing efficiency in banking, retail, and any high-volume cash environment.

Advanced Value Counting & Time-Saving Precision

The primary advantage of the 6600 UV is its Value Counting capability. Instead of simply counting the number of notes, the machine allows you to select a denomination and provides an accurate, dollar-for-dollar total. This feature eliminates manual calculation errors and drastically reduces cash reconciliation time.

  • Mixed-Batch Totaling: By utilizing the ADD and Value features, you can process different denominations and receive an immediate, accurate dollar total—perfect for rapid deposit preparation.
  • Reliable UV Counterfeit Defense: Every bill is subject to a high-precision Ultraviolet (UV) check during the counting process. This instantly identifies suspicious notes by verifying embedded security features, protecting your business from financial loss.
  • High-Speed Throughput: Designed for productivity, the 6600 UV processes currency at elite speeds while maintaining total accuracy, making it a reliable workhorse for busy environments.
  • Intelligent Error Detection: The system automatically identifies half, double, and chained notes, alerting the operator immediately to ensure the final count is 100% correct.

Professional Build for High-Volume Workflows

The 6600 UV is engineered with proven Cassida reliability, offering an intelligent and durable solution for advanced cash management:

  • Large-Capacity Hopper & Stacker: Optimized for high-volume tasks, the large hopper supports continuous operation, reducing the need for frequent reloading during large counts.
  • User-Friendly Interface: A clear, high-visibility display and intuitive controls mean your staff can master the machine in minutes, minimizing training time.
  • Compact & Space-Efficient: Despite its industrial performance, the 6600 UV features a space-saving design that fits easily on retail counters, desks, or in teller windows.
  • Durable Engineering: Built with high-quality components, the 6600 UV is designed to withstand the rigors of daily commercial use.

1. Does a regular bill counter tell me the total dollar value?

No. A standard bill counter counts the number of pieces (quantity), not the denomination. For example, if you put in ten $5 bills and ten $20 bills, the machine will tell you there are "20 bills." You must pre-sort your money by denomination to calculate the total value. (If you need the machine to automatically calculate value for mixed stacks, check out our Currency Discriminators.)

2. How does the machine detect fake money?
Standard counters use two primary methods:

UV (Ultraviolet): It checks the paper’s reaction to UV light. Real US currency paper does not glow, but many counterfeit papers do.
MG (Magnetic): It scans for the magnetic ink used in the printing of authentic currency.

3. Can I count items other than currency?s.

Many of our regular bill counters can count other paper items of similar size, such as vouchers, tickets, or coupons, provided they fall within the machine's thickness and size specification

4. What is the "Batch" function used for?

The Batch function is a favorite for retail managers. It allows you to preset a number (like 25, 50, or 100). The machine will count exactly that many bills and then pause, allowing you to remove the stack and put a rubber band or paper strap around it for a bank deposit.

5. Why is my counter "double-feeding" or "jamming"?

This usually happens for one of three reasons:

Thickness Adjustment: There is a small tension screw on the back. If your bills are very new (thin) or very old (thick), you may need to adjust it slightly.
Dirty Sensors: Dust from paper currency can coat the sensors. A quick blast of compressed air usually fixes this.
Poor Loading: Ensure the bills are squared up and placed flat into the hopper for the smoothest feed.
