The Kisan Newton-A Currency Discriminator is the ultimate solution for high-speed, secure, and accurate cash processing. Designed for busy financial institutions and businesses, this advanced mixed bill counter delivers exceptional performance in a compact and durable form factor. The Newton-A seamlessly integrates blazing speed, comprehensive security, and versatile multi-currency handling to streamline your cash operations with precision.

Extreme Speed and Continuous Operation

The Newton-A is built for maximum throughput. It achieves an outstanding Normal and Value Counting speed of 1,500 bills per minute, drastically reducing cash processing time. Its efficient 1+1 pocket design includes a large 600-note hopper and a dedicated 50-note reject pocket.

  • Benefit: The dedicated reject pocket isolates suspect or wrong-denomination notes without halting the count, ensuring continuous, non-stop operation and maximizing staff productivity.
  • Efficiency: The machine’s ability to process mixed denominations and up to 16 different currencies in Auto/Mix modes provides rapid reconciliation for complex deposits.

Advanced Security and Data Management

Security is a core feature of the Newton-A. It employs a comprehensive, multi-layered detection system featuring CIS, 18-channel MG (Magnetic), IR, UV, and US sensors. This powerful combination ensures bank-grade authentication, providing total assurance that only authentic bills are processed.

For enhanced accountability, the machine offers optional Serial Number (S/N) Reading at 1,000 bills per minute. This feature is vital for creating robust audit trails and tracking high-value notes, supporting regulatory compliance and minimizing liability.

Ideal Users and Compact Design

Weighing just 10 kg and featuring compact dimensions (314 x 288 x 310 mm), the Newton-A is designed to fit comfortably in space-constrained environments without sacrificing performance.

  • Ideal for: Bank teller stations, high-volume retail checkouts, credit union back offices, and small-to-medium exchange houses.
  • User Experience: Operations are intuitive and require minimal training, thanks to the responsive 4.3" touch screen and simple controls.

The Kisan Newton-A is the smart investment for any organization seeking to combine ultimate performance and reliability with efficient, space-saving design.

1. What is the difference between a bill counter and a currency discriminator?

A standard bill counter is a "piece counter"—it tells you how many pieces of paper went through. A currency discriminator is a "value counter"—it uses digital eyes (CIS) to look at the bill, identify if it’s a $20 or a $100, and give you a total monetary value.

2. Is a currency discriminator better at catching fakes than a cheap counter?

Yes. Standard counters usually only check for magnetic ink or UV glow. Discriminators use Image Recognition, meaning they compare the actual artwork and security features of the bill against a high-resolution database. This is the only reliable way to catch "supernotes" or bleached bills (e.g., a $1 bill reprinted to look like a $100).

3. What does "1+1 Pocket" or "2-Pocket" mean?

This is one of the most searched terms.

  • A 1-Pocket machine stops and beeps every time it finds a suspect or "unfit" bill.
  • A 2-Pocket (1+1) machine has a separate Reject Pocket. It sends suspect bills to the top pocket while the main count continues without stopping. This is essential for high-volume environments.

4. Can currency discriminators count international money?

Most modern discriminators come with "Multi-Currency" modes. Because they rely on image scanning, they can be programmed to recognize the distinct designs of Euros, Canadian Dollars, British Pounds, and Mexican Pesos, often handling them all in the same stack.

5. Why is my discriminator giving a "CIS Error"?

This is usually a sign that the "eyes" of the machine are dirty. Cash is incredibly dusty; we recommend using cleaning cards or a microfiber cloth weekly to wipe the sensors. If the sensors are blocked by dust, the machine can't "see" the bill to identify it.
