Kisan Newton 30 Era – High-Speed 2+1 Pocket Currency Sorter & Discriminator

The Kisan Newton 30 Era (2+1P) is a premium, industrial-grade currency sorter engineered for financial institutions and organizations managing heavy, complex cash flow. This advanced machine integrates fitness sorting, robust 21-channel security, and global multi-currency discrimination into a single, efficient 2+1 pocket system, dramatically streamlining high-volume operations by allowing for more complex sorting in a single pass.

Advanced 2+1 Pocket "Non-Stop" Sorting

The Newton 30 Era's core strength is its configuration of two stacker pockets plus one dedicated reject pocket. This 3-pocket design allows the machine to perform multi-step sorting processes without ever halting the count:

  • Complex Sorting in One Pass: Unlike standard machines, the 2+1 system can sort by denomination into two separate pockets while simultaneously diverting suspects to the reject tray. This is ideal for high-speed Face and Orientation sorting.
  • Industrial Fitness Grading: Perform accurate Fitness Sorting to maintain the quality of your cash inventory. The machine classifies notes by physical condition, ensuring that only ATM-fit currency is separated from "unfit" notes destined for the Federal Reserve.
  • Consistent 1,000 BPM Performance: The Newton 30 Era maintains a rock-solid speed of 1,000 bills per minute across all demanding functions—including Value Counting, Fitness Sorting, and high-speed Serial Number (S/N) reading.
  • High Capacity Feed: A massive 600-bill hopper capacity ensures that your staff can process bulk deposits with fewer interruptions.

Best-in-Class Security & Global Versatility

The Newton 30 Era is globally ready and features a multi-layered detection system that sets the industry standard for counterfeit prevention:

  • Bank-Grade Sensor Package: Security is guaranteed by a comprehensive suite including Dual CIS, 18-channel MG (Magnetic), and 21-channel US (Ultrasonic) sensors, alongside UV and IR detection. This ensures every banknote is authenticated with forensic-level precision.
  • 48-Currency Support: The machine is globally compatible, supporting up to 48 world currencies with an intuitive Auto/Mix mode for processing international mixed deposits seamlessly.
  • Gaming & Financial Data Capture: Beyond currency, the 30 Era is engineered to scan Checks, Vouchers, and TITO (Ticket-In, Ticket-Out) tickets, making it the perfect all-in-one terminal for casino cage operations and corporate treasuries.
  • Network Ready: With LAN and USB connectivity, the Newton 30 Era integrates directly with the KBMS Network Solution for centralized data management and remote auditing.

1. What is the difference between a bill counter and a currency discriminator?

A standard bill counter is a "piece counter"—it tells you how many pieces of paper went through. A currency discriminator is a "value counter"—it uses digital eyes (CIS) to look at the bill, identify if it’s a $20 or a $100, and give you a total monetary value.

2. Is a currency discriminator better at catching fakes than a cheap counter?

Yes. Standard counters usually only check for magnetic ink or UV glow. Discriminators use Image Recognition, meaning they compare the actual artwork and security features of the bill against a high-resolution database. This is the only reliable way to catch "supernotes" or bleached bills (e.g., a $1 bill reprinted to look like a $100).

3. What does "1+1 Pocket" or "2-Pocket" mean?

This is one of the most searched terms.

  • A 1-Pocket machine stops and beeps every time it finds a suspect or "unfit" bill.
  • A 2-Pocket (1+1) machine has a separate Reject Pocket. It sends suspect bills to the top pocket while the main count continues without stopping. This is essential for high-volume environments.

4. Can currency discriminators count international money?

Most modern discriminators come with "Multi-Currency" modes. Because they rely on image scanning, they can be programmed to recognize the distinct designs of Euros, Canadian Dollars, British Pounds, and Mexican Pesos, often handling them all in the same stack.

5. Why is my discriminator giving a "CIS Error"?

This is usually a sign that the "eyes" of the machine are dirty. Cash is incredibly dusty; we recommend using cleaning cards or a microfiber cloth weekly to wipe the sensors. If the sensors are blocked by dust, the machine can't "see" the bill to identify it.
