Efficient & Reliable: Professional Bill Counters

Fast. Accurate. Built for Business. If you handle high volumes of cash, you know that manual counting is not just a chore—it’s an opportunity for human error. Our Standard Bill Counters are designed to streamline your end-of-day processes, offering lightning-fast speeds and robust counterfeit detection to give you total peace of mind.

Unlike expensive discriminators, these machines are optimized for single-denomination counting. Simply sort your stack, and let the machine do the heavy lifting, processing up to 1,500 bills per minute with "set-it-and-forget-it" reliability.

Key Benefits of Our Regular Counters

  • Industrial Speed: Reduce hours of manual labor to mere minutes.
  • Add & Batch Modes: Use "Add" to keep a running total of multiple stacks, or "Batch" to automatically stop at a specific number (e.g., 50 bills) for easy strap preparation.
  • Essential Security: Integrated UV (Ultraviolet) and MG (Magnetic) sensors scan for counterfeit markers as the bills pass through.
  • Compact & Portable: Designed to fit on any desk or back-office counter without taking up valuable workspace.

1. Does a regular bill counter tell me the total dollar value?

No. A standard bill counter counts the number of pieces (quantity), not the denomination. For example, if you put in ten $5 bills and ten $20 bills, the machine will tell you there are "20 bills." You must pre-sort your money by denomination to calculate the total value. (If you need the machine to automatically calculate value for mixed stacks, check out our Currency Discriminators.)

2. How does the machine detect fake money?

Standard counters use two primary methods:

  • UV (Ultraviolet): It checks the paper’s reaction to UV light. Real US currency paper does not glow, but many counterfeit papers do.
  • MG (Magnetic): It scans for the magnetic ink used in the printing of authentic currency.

3. Can I count items other than currency?

Many of our regular bill counters can count other paper items of similar size, such as vouchers, tickets, or coupons, provided they fall within the machine's thickness and size specifications.

4. What is the "Batch" function used for?

The Batch function is a favorite for retail managers. It allows you to preset a number (like 25, 50, or 100). The machine will count exactly that many bills and then pause, allowing you to remove the stack and put a rubber band or paper strap around it for a bank deposit.

5. Why is my counter "double-feeding" or "jamming"?

This usually happens for one of three reasons:

  • Thickness Adjustment: There is a small tension screw on the back. If your bills are very new (thin) or very old (thick), you may need to adjust it slightly.
  • Dirty Sensors: Dust from paper currency can coat the sensors. A quick blast of compressed air usually fixes this.
  • Poor Loading: Ensure the bills are squared up and placed flat into the hopper for the smoothest feed.
